AUDIO VISUAL INSTALLATION ENGINEER
Based in London - Onsite/Remote

Our client has a fantastic opportunity for an Installation Engineer to join their IT team to deliver world class installation and commissioning of commercial audio visual, control, and video conferencing solutions across the UK & Europe.
Key Responsibilities:

Installation and commissioning of commercial audio visual, control, and video conferencing solutions across the UK & Europe

Follow all system documentation such as project brief, system schematics, rack elevations, room elevations, mechanical and electrical mark ups and furniture

Consistently drive a high level of engineering quality for both yourself and fellow colleagues

Manage, report and co-ordinate van stock levels, cable usage and tool states with Regional Technical Manager & project support team

Working with the Project Co-Ordination team, manage all product returns and van stock levels

Assess potential site risks and hazards to add to the existing site-specific risk and method statements

Function as the focal point for internal and external engineering communication and documentation in the absence of a Project Manager

Coordinate activities with general contractor, construction manager, owner, and other trades as required

Provide regular reports to Regional Technical Management and Project Managers

Regularly inspect installation work and assess against the Visavvi engineering standards documentation

Test or certify the performance of installed systems
Skills and Experience
-
Excellent installation knowledge of commercial AV products and brands (i.e. Extron, Harman, Crestron, Biamp & Polycom)

Solid background working across the audio visual industry

Comfortable working in a field-based role, covering the surrounding regions
