Our client, who is a leader in digital and conventional label solutions, is looking for a Digital Finishing Operator to join their team in the Hungerford region.

Our client has continually grown over 40 years to earn its position at the forefront of manufacturing high quality and innovative Self-Adhesive Products, Shrink Sleeves and Wraparound Reel Fed Labels.

Job Role:

As a Digital Finishing Operator, your primary focus will be to ensure the timely production of finishing print work, using all available finishing equipment.

​

Our ideal candidate will have experience of operating machines such as: Digicon Lite, Digicon Series 2, Digicon Series 3 & Digicon Series 4.

​

Working in collaboration with the whole Production team, this role requires the ability to deliver a high standard of work in a fast-paced production environment on a consistent basis. Your main task involves ensuring the consistent production of finishing high-quality printed labels. Diligence is paramount for this role in ensuring we achieve the exacting requirements of our growing customer base.

​

Time management & prioritization is essential as well as the ability to think on your feet - every day is challenging. The ability to identify solutions quickly and effectively and be client-driven is essential.

Employees daily responsibilities, include but not limited to –

• Operating a Digicon finishing machine.

• Product inspection checks.

• Prioritising workload with the team.

• Basic administrative work including data entry.

Required Experience:

• Strong diligence.

• A good understanding mechanical of machines.

• Able to understand and follow clear work instructions.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal & written.

• Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team.

• Flexible approach and able to use own initiative when required.

• Ability to effectively manage your own workload.

• Effective time management skills are essential.

• Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict delivery deadlines.

• Target & client driven.

• Experience within a print finishing environment is desired.

• Preferred 1 years’ experience working in a print finishing environment.
