Verelogic Steps In to Help Local Boxing Club

Swindon Brunel Amateur Boxing Club thanked Verelogic today in helping with the purchase of the boxing gear for their members.

After becoming affiliated with the Boxing Club, CEO Kevin Metcalfe has now taken on the role as Vice Chairman, but not before helping as a local sponsor and inserting a cash injection to fund 20 new kits.

After they changed their name, and move premises almost 11 months ago, Brian Roberts - Owner of the Gym has said the kit will go along way to helping every prospective athlete achieve their dreams.

Discussing the new kit and why it was necessary, Roberts said: “Verelogic bought it for us and put our logo on the front and back of the shirts – they’ve bought us shorts and vests as well, so we’re chuffed."

Roberts, who also doubles up as one of the coaches, said the kit change was important after the club switched governing bodies. He said “We were with The Alliance, but we’ve now gone back to England Boxing. Because of that, we had to get a new kit in order to compete. We’ve now got 20 kits for our members to use in training and in bouts.”

Kevin Metcalfe said "We are happy to support Swindon Brunel Boxing Club. Brian and the coaches have moved forward greatly with the new building and I am happy to help in any way I can".

We look forward to writing the first blog about their first fight night in their new kits!
