Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic Technical Sales Consultant to join our established sales team. In this role, you will be required to source new customers and business contacts, demonstrate the technical features of our products, drive sales, and maintain strong customer relations.

To ensure success as a Technical Sales Executive, you should have strong knowledge of Cloud products at a technical level, a passion for sales, and the ability to identify areas of opportunity. Ultimately, a top-class Technical Sales Consultant drives business by understanding the needs of the client and providing them with the right product choices.

Essential/Demonstratable skills :

  • Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft M365

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure offerings

  • Sourcing potential new customers.

  • Maintaining regular contact with existing customers.

  • Traveling to the customer's location to talk about our solutions.

  • Demonstrating the technical features and benefits of our solutions.

  • Advising customers on technology upgrades and related products.

  • Composing tender documents and customer proposals.

  • Generating purchase orders and sales receipts.

  • Maintaining strong customer relations.

  • Demonstratable experience of exceeding sales targets.

 

Desirable skills/experience:

  • Degree educated in IT or related field.

  • Knowledge of AWS products & services

  • Previous experience in a Technical Sales position.

  • Knowledge of Legacy systems such as IBM Notes.

  • Strong knowledge of Software and technical products.

  • Professional and friendly demeanour.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Basic knowledge of computer systems and Office Software.

  • Ability to travel.

On a daily level, your job is likely to include:

  • Attending initial sales meetings and meeting the client

  • Determining a client’s business requirements and whether the solutions being considered are suitable

  • Capture high-level requirements of client need

  • Answering any technical questions the client might have

  • Presenting your findings to a technical team to act on, and then to the client
