Based in Bath 
Salary up to £40k (DOE)

As a Bl Developer you will develop Dashboards and other Reporting. You will also contribute to the design and development of the Data Warehouse and Analytic data platforms. Your work will be in high demand across our global company and will cover a wide variety of business data including Finance, HR, Business Development and Engineering Models.

Development work will all be carried out using industry standard Microsoft Bl technologies i.e. Power Bl, SSIS, SSRS, SSIS and SQL Server. The right candidate will not need to have experience in all these technologies at the start - so this is a great opportunity to gain these desirable skills. However, it is essential that the candidate has a strong aptitude for software development, and demonstrable professional experience in TSQL, along with some dashboard or report development experience.

You will be part of a team of 4 developers, based in our Bath Office but with options to work remotely, using the 'Scrum' agile methodology to plan your work

What Will I be Doing?

Developing Power BI Dashboards (and SSRS reports)

Extending the Data Warehouse and SSAS Tabular Models

Extending the ETL processes (SSIS and SQL)

Planning and executing robust testing to ensure the quality of the delivered solutions

Planning and managing your work with the team, using the Scrum methodology


What Can I bring to the Team? Essential Skills:

An aptitude for software development (interview will include a coding test)

• T-SQL and relational database skills (2+ years)

• Dashboard development using Power Bl or similar tools


Desirable Skills:

DAX and Tabular modelling experience

ETL experience (preferably SSIS)


Other Useful Skills:

Full software development life-cycle experience
