WATER LEGIONELLA RISK ASSESSOR

Based in Manchester
Salary: £29,000 - £35,000 DOE 

Overview: 

Our client is an air and water treatment specialist with over 30 years of experience delivering air and water quality regimes to organisations of all sizes throughout the UK. 

Working with contractors, consultants and on-site engineers, the business ensures that the optimum solution is designed, implemented and maintained to meet our customers' requirements. 

This year, the business was acquired by a leading asbestos management consultancy, and the merged businesses are looking to expand geographically and through further diverse acquisitions. The business covers leading football clubs, universities, retailers, and even Parliament. 

Due to continuous growth, the business requires an experienced Water Risk Assessor to join its team. 

 

In this role you'll: 

  • Conduct risk assessments for Legionella in water systems.  

  • Analyse water samples & recommend control measures.  

  • Inspect tanks, pipes & cooling towers.  

  • Communicate clearly & support clients with best practices.  

  • Maintain detailed records. 

  • Stay current on Legionella control regulations & ensure compliance. 

     

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • Strong background in Legionella risk assessments and water risk assessments. 

  • Ideally, several years of experience in the sector. 

  • Hold a City & Guilds Risk Assessor qualification or equivalent (desired) 

  • Flexibility to work outside standard hours when necessary. 

  • Full UK driving licence. 

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
